Energy Efficiency A Priority for Ukraine
May 18th 2018ENERGY efficiency is a priority for the Ukrainian economy and it will help both save energy resources and increase the economy by at least 1% report ukrinform.net.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities of Ukraine Hennadiy Zubko stated this at the European External Investment Programme forum, the Governmental portal reported.
Energy efficiency is a priority direction for the Ukrainian economy. This means not only the implementation of energy efficiency in the residential sector, but also the adoption of the 27th European Industrial Directive. This will allow not only saving energy resources, but also increasing the economy of the country by at least 1%. Therefore, I invite international partners to use the investment opportunities of Ukraine in this direction, Zubko said.
He also states that Ukraine’s new investment opportunities are revealed through energy efficiency and decentralization reforms.
